香港醫學博物館草藥園的規劃概念，主要搜羅在香港種植或可種植的藥用植物，並藉之反映草藥的基本醫學特性和功能、突顯中國草藥的特點，並反映中西醫藥文化的同異。
The design of the Herbal Garden aims to show the nature and characteristics of herbal medicine medicinal plants, highlight their special use and compare their application in Chinese and Western culture.
